    The Green Bay Packers announced plans for the ninth ‘Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour,’ set for April 15-19. This year’s tour includes two stops in Michigan, in addition to three Wisconsin stops, to visit with fans and thank them in person for their support.

    Tour celebrities will include Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy, players Jarrett Bush, Brad Jones and Mason Crosby, and Packers alumni Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey and James Lofton.

    The tailgate parties will welcome the players and alumni arriving at each location at 6 p.m., and will run until 8:30 p.m., except in Merrill, where the tailgate party will take place from 12:30 to 3 p.m. A local non-profit organization will host each party which will feature food, giveaways, question-and-answer sessions and autographs. Tailgate party tickets cost $30.

    General admission tickets also will be available for $5, which includes access to the Q-and-A sessions as well as tailgate party activities. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Due to space limitations, no general admission tickets will be available in Ironwood. 

    One hundred percent of the Tailgate Tour proceeds will benefit the hosting organizations.

    Tickets for the tailgate parties at all locations will go on sale Friday, Feb. 28. ‘Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour’ tailgate party locations, hosting organizations and ticket information are as follows:

  • Sat., Apr. 26, 2014 8:00AM - 6:00PM CDT Packers Pro Shop Tent Sale

    The sale is taking place earlier than in previous years, due to the construction at Lambeau Field and the work that the Pro Shop team must complete in preparation for the new store, which will open this summer. Visitors to Lambeau Field should enter the Atrium through the Oneida Nation Gate. Parking is available in the lot on Lambeau Field’s east side near the Oneida Nation Gate, which can be accessed off Oneida Street and Lombardi Avenue.

    The sale will feature the traditional mix of Pro Shop items greatly reduced in price and other special purchases.

    The team’s football operations staff also has provided Packers team apparel no longer in use, including a large assortment of t-shirts, shorts, jackets, jerseys and pants. Some items are practice-worn gear not normally available in the Pro Shop.

    The tent sale began in 1994 in the parking lot outside the former Pro Shop on the north end of Lambeau Field and grew into a popular event. Now in its 11th year in the Atrium, the tent sale also was held in the west side stadium concourse in previous years.

Join us for the 4th Annual Packers 5K Run/Walk presented by Bellin Health. Starting from Lombardi Avenue in front of the Atrium, run through side streets of Green Bay, around the rubber track of Lambeau Field and finish on a replica 50-yard line constructed in the parking lot.

New for 2013, the 1K Kid's Run presented by WPS Health Insurance will be held on Friday Night, July 26th, following packet pickup. Kids 10 & under can run a Lambeau Lap and finish on replica turf just outside of Lambeau Field.

Back again in 2013, Packers alumni Tony Fisher, Bill Schroeder and Dexter McNabb will be running in the Packers 5K Run/Walk. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and run with former Packers players.

A portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the following non-profit groups:

  • N.E.W. Community Clinic
  • Volunteer Center

PACKET PICK-UP: 5K & Kids Run
The Packers will be offering pre-registered 5K participants and Kids Run participants the chance to pick up their race packets on the following days:
  • Friday, July 26 from 3:00-7:00pm in the Lambeau Field Atrium
  • Saturday, July 27 from 3:00-6:00pm in the Lambeau Field Atrium
All 5K Participants will receive:
  • Packers 5K Run/Walk T-Shirt
  • Packers 5K Logo Bag
  • Race Bib and Time Chip
All Kids Run Participants will receive:
  • Packers Kids Run T-Shirt
  • Packers Kids Run Logo Bag
  • Participant Medal
We encourage Friday night pick up to alleviate race day congestion.


RACE DESCRIPTION:
The 5K race will begin on Lombardi Ave and finish in the Lambeau Field parking lot, giving participants the opportunity to run around the rubber track of historic Lambeau Field.

Course Map

The Kids Run will start and finish in the southeast corner of the Lambeau Field parking lot. Kids will have the chance to run a lap inside Lambeau Field and finish in the parking lot.





PARKING:
Please allow extra commute time when planning for arrival. All entrances off of Lombardi Avenue to Lambeau Field will be close in preparation for the race. Please enter Lambeau Field off of Oneida Street or Ridge Road. There will be no charge for parking and will be available on a first come first serve basis. Parking is also available on side streets around Lambeau Field, but not on the race route.


HANDICAP/DISABLED PARTICIPANTS:
Questions about a handicap or disabled runners and walkers can be directed to Aaron Kastner at 920-569-7500.


STAGING:
The staging area for the 5K will be setup on Lombardi Avenue, in front of the Lambeau Field Atrium. There will be multiple waves of runners: the first wave is designated for the fastest competitive runner with digression among the remaining six wave's base on average speed. Please place yourself accordingly.

5K:
Wave 1: Under 7:00 minute mile runners
Wave 2: 7:00-9:00 minute mile runners
Wave 3: 9:00-11:00 minute mile runners
Wave 4: 11:00 minute plus mile runners
Wave 5: Runners with strollers
Wave 6: Walkers
Wave 7: Walkers with strollers

The staging of the Kids Run will be outside the Oneida Nation gate in the southeast corner of the Lambeau Field parking lot.

Kids Run:
10 year olds: 6:00pm
8 & 9 year olds: 6:15pm
6 & 7 year olds: 6:30pm
5 years & under: 6:45pm

It is mandatory that a parent or guardian accompany children 5 years & under.

Participants in BOTH races may move back waves but may not move up waves. We want this to be safe, exciting and memorable for all, please be courteous to ALL participants.

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers for each division for the 5K race. In addition, the top 3 finishers overall (both male and female) will be awarded prizes.

WATER STATIONS:
On average, Saturday's temperature is sunny and hot. It is very important that race participants stay hydrated. There will be two water stations on the race course. These stations will provide participants with water and Gatorade. However, please feel free to bring your own hydration along. Water and Gatorade will also be provided for participants before and after the race.

Water will be available at the finish line for the Packers Kids Run on Friday Night


FIELD:
We are excited to allow participants the unique experience of running down the player's tunnel and around Lambeau Field. The course will be roped off and will keep participants on a rubber track around the outside edge of the field. Please stay within the roped area. If any participant steps on the field, the participant will be immediately disqualified and escorted off the premises.


WIXX:
In case of inclement weather, please tune into 101.1 WIXX for Packers 5K updates.


VIEWING:
The stadium bowl will be open for family and friends to view participants as they run/walk through Lambeau Field. All viewers will be directed to enter through the Miller Lite Gate on the north side of the stadium.
